Serenity Academy of Performing Arts is dedicated to bringing quality performing arts education to the City of Denham Springs and surrounding areas, no matter your age, physical ability, or financial standing. Although there is a strong dance studio presence in Denham Springs, Serenity is set on changing the face of this industry. Not only do we provide dance classes, theater workshops, and multiple performance opportunities, but also private vocal lessons and theater based summer camps.
At Serenity , we believe the student should be apart of the creative process. Through structured lesson plans and director supervision, students learn more than the physical requirements to complete a skill. Our students learn character creation/development, set & costume design, scene structure, and directing/choreographing techniques.
