Mrs. Daren

Daren started dancing when she was 2 years old.  She was a cheerleader all through Middle & High School and that is where she developed her interest in Hip Hop. She was Southeastern Louisiana University Lionette. She was also a finalist for the Saintsaitions Dance Team but decided to get married instead. She started teaching at BREC Parks in 1996 and began teaching locally in 1999.  She volunteered at the 2016 Louisiana Miss Amazing Pageant designed for young ladies who need additional assistance in their activities.  She been married for over 27 years to Dan. They have two sons, Zach & Brayden. They are members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Daren's mission is to expand the performing arts awareness in her community.  It's very important that anyone needing extra assistance in class know that there is a home for them at Serenity.  When she's not at Serenity you will find her at her salon, Avenue Allure, located in the Denham Springs Antique Village.  She opened the salon in 2018.  Being in the center of town, has opened even more opportunities for Serenity.

Mr. Danny began singing at a very young age.  Being the youngest of 4 brothers & lead singer of their band, LesBousCru.  His first appearance on stage was in Junior High and he is still singing today.  His range varies from baritone to high falsetto.  The strengths he brings to our vocal lessons are breathing techniques, head positioning, and overcoming the fear of live performance.  He was also a voluntary head football coach for local kids and the current entertainment chairman for the annual ICC Church Fair.
